Welcome to Cherry Blossom Gypsies Pony Camp

Do you have a child or grandchild ages 8-80 that is horse crazy, but don’t have one of your own? Maybe you’re thinking about getting one but want some equine experience first? Cherry Blossom Gypsies has the answer.

We’re located in The Dalles, OR, in the Mid Columbia Gorge.

At CBG ‘Pony Camp’, the kids will enjoy exciting horsemanship edutainment. The campers will receive daily riding lessons and learn about the responsibilities of caring for their very own ‘pony’.

We use the word pony but in reality they are horses. Because their personalities are so friendly, kids can do anything with them. They love the attention.

Campers will come away with an understanding of horse behavior, riding techniques, safety, tack, grooming, and equine care. They will also enjoy hands on activities featuring horse related crafts, fun and games. An added bonus is the friends they will make.

At the end of the week, the campers will get to show their parents what they have accomplished at a horseshow, awards and BBQ dinner.
